Eve and John -

Thank you for opening your doors to us last September even though you had officially closed for the season. Alas, our stay was only for two nights, but we enjoyed your accommodations, cuisine and conversation. So good to have met you both and we hope to come for another visit soon!

Hi Eve and John:
We want to add to the list of comments our praise about you, the lovely, warm welcoming couple who put us at ease immediately, and also Eve's tasty and generous breakfast. In completely refurbishing Corbett House, you preserved so many beautiful aspects of the home that we really got the feeling that this was a lovely piece of history. And there were so many other enjoyable pieces of art and tasteful decorations throughout. We particularly enjoyed lounging in a sunny morning in wicker chairs on your front veranda, sipping coffee while looking out across the fields to Saturna Island, or chatting in hot afternoons on your west patio overlooking your orchard. Our stay was so restful and re-invigorating, almost like a dream or fantasy. When you're next in Vancouver, please look us up.

What a wonderful break from China it was, to stay in a beautifully restored farm house in an idyllic setting and Eve's breakfast was the most elegant and delicious we've ever eaten.

What a wonderful and relaxing visit. the house was lovely and the art work in every room is beautiful - Eve's photos and some of their daughter's paintings. The food was fresh and delicious and as good as any NYC restaurant.
John and Eve were friendly and warm and helped us find whatever we wanted to do on the island. we highly recommend it and hope to come back ourselves for another relaxing visit.

From a very warm welcome upon arrival to hugs when we departed, our weekend at John and Eve's Corbett House Country Inn could not have been better. It felt like we spent the weekend with long time friends and was our best time ever at a B&B.
Everything was cozy and comfortable and the breakfasts superb.

Oh yeah, we also saw a pod of 20 or more Orcas swim by.

Just spent two fabulous days and nights at Corbett House. It was, without a doubt, the best Bed and Breakfast that we have stayed at for a long time.

The ambiance of the place, the beautiful furnishings, the fabulous breakfasts and the afternoon and evening teas, made this a getaway destination that I would highly recommend and one we thoroughly enjoyed.

We cannot begin to say enough about our hosts, John and Eve (and of course little Lucy), whose wonderful hospitality made this a very special retreat.

We would like to thank you again for our beautiful stay at you very, very special farmhouse. Everything about it is perfect, and we always enjoyed looking at your wonderful, wonderful country setting. The scene looks like something in a professional travel magazine.
The breakfasts were delicious and beautifully presented. Eve and John are so genuine and care so much about individual needs. Thank you!

Please give a big hug to Lucy for us!

JUST WHAT WE NEEDED! Corbett House was the perfect getaway for 2 good friends/busy mothers who were hoping for some rest and relaxation. We cannot say enough about John and Eve, the delicious and hearty breakfasts, the clean and elegant home and the peace and quiet. We enjoyed happy hour in the orchard watching the sun set with the sheep grazing behind us. We walked the beautiful quiet roads. We took advantage of every suggestion given by John and Eve and we are so thankful we did because we chanced upon an unexpected sighting of 12+ beautiful orcas. It was just what the doctor ordered and I would truly love to bring my husband back for a visit. Thank you so much John, Eve and Lucy!

GORGEOUS GORGEOUS GORGEOUS! The only word to describe this place is absolutely fabulous. Amazing hosts. So friendly, welcoming, and even upon first meeting them you feel as though you have known them forever. This house has luxurious bedrooms, bathrooms, living room, and the breakfast is to die for. If you visit Pender Island and do not stay here you are truly missing out. John and Eve are so full of love and love meeting new people and hearing about new experiences. You will leave Corbett House with new friends, and a beautiful experience. Come to relax, to play, and to experience what Pender has to offer. Corbett House is a MUST!
